An inquest was also held before the same Coroner in the afternoon of Saturday, at the Hammer-in-Hand, in Sackville street, upon the body of Mary Bullock, who was reported to have met her death from ill treatment and violent blows she had received on her head. A very lengthened enquiry took place, and Dr. Bright, who made a past mortem examination, stated that deceased died from inflammation of the brain ; but there was no proof that ill-treatment had been the cause of it. Verdict-" Died from inflammation of the brain."
