James Hanley was listed as 30 years old on arrival. Native Place: Tipperary. James was literate, RC, married with 3 children, 5'7½" tall, fair ruddy freckled complexion, light brown hair, grey eyes, P H and crucifix on right arm, scar at outside corner of right eye and lower parts of right cheek.
