On Monday the Mayor of Limerick held an inquest on the body of Robert Hickson, who died of a desperate beating he received on the previous Thursday, at the Old Windmill.road.—Verdict, Wilful Murder against persons not yet apprehended. Morning Herald, 17 April 1827. Yesterday, the Mayor held an inguest at the County Infirmary, on the body of Robert Hickson. A verdict of wilful murder was returned against John Hanley, who has been committed to prison. Limerick Chronicle, 7 April 1827. TRANSPORTATION FOR SEVEN YEARS.
