1833 - Old Bailey On-Line Born; Tried; 11 April 1833 - 879. CHARLES HARDING was indicted for stealing, on the 18th of March , 12 watches, value 50l., the goods of Betty Armstrong , his mistress, in her dwelling-house ; and JANE HARDING was indicted for feloniously receiving the same, well knowing them to have been stolen. CHARLES HARDING - GUILTY of stealing to the value of 99s. only . Aged 16. Transported for Seven Years. JANE HARDING - GUILTY . Aged 32. Transported for Fourteen Years . 1834 - Source; CON40-1-9. Indent No; 228 Trial; 11 April 1833 Transported for “Receiving Stolen Watches" Status; Married - 2 children husband; James, a Butler at Lord Exmouth's. I expect him out here - Free. SON - Charles Harding came here in John 2 - 7 years. DAUGHTER; 13 years old on board 1840 - Ticket of Leave.
