Globe London, England 25 Oct 1837 Jonah Hare, aged 37, was found guilty on two charges of horse stealing, and sentenced to transportation for ten years for the first offence, and at the expiration of that time fifteen years for the second. Ancestry Convict Indents: Jonah was listed as 36 on arrival. Native Place: Buckinghamshire. Jonah was illiterate, protestant, married with 2 male and 2 female children, 5'4½" tall, ruddy and freckled complexion, brown mixed with grey hair, blue eyes, losta front tooth in lower jaw, scar and two raised moles on right side of neck, two moles on back of same, scar on forefinger of left hand. 3/7/1846: TOL - Allowed to remain in the DListrict of Bathurst, on recommendation of Hyde Park Bench, dated 1/5/1846. 11/3/1847: Altered to Yass - cancelled 1/5/1851 for being absent from Muster - was the reissued by the Yass bench. Still have not found date of death.

Jonah Hare was about 36 years old on arrival. 1846: TOL Bathurst. Found no other records of Jonah.
