George HARLOW was convicted at Warwick, England on 26 March 1831 for burglary. Gaol report: "bad connections, in prison before" Life sentence. Hulk report: "attempted to escape". Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship "Elizabeth" arriving 14 Feb 1832. Ship surgeon's report: "orderly". Aged 21yrs; single man; labourer; Colony of VDL: Assigned to work duties. 22 Feb 1840: Ticket of Leave granted. 17 May 1842 or 1843: Conditional Pardon approved 1846: Conditional Pardon extended.
