Family connections for Mary/Amelia (Harlow) are: HARLOW CCONVICTdone Mary/Amelia (Arlow/Harlow) was born about 1786. She was tried at Bristol Gloucestershire Quarter Sessions of Peace, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 9 1 1814 after a voyage of 5months on WANSTEAD; she was Protestant. She had a first relationship with William Henry (Fishburn his first relationship) & produced a child>>> [Some details taken from this Website] CCONVICTdone William Henry (Fishburn) was born on 28 7 1795 & baptised on 6 9 1795 at St Phillips CofE Sydney.>>> Details of Henry (Fishburn)s family are given in entry for Sarah (Donnelly MARY ANNE 1791) on this Website. .. >>>Mary/Amelia (Harlow) married secondly Joseph (Huff his second marriage) on 2 4 1816 at St Johns CofE Parramatta & produced 7children. He was tried w/1other for stealing a lamb, on 29 7 1802, of Edward (Kirby) at Old Bailey, sentenced to Life, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 11 3 1803 after a voyage of 6months on HMS GLATTON; he was Protestant. He married firstly Mary (Webb) on 24 12 1810 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He was Free by Servitude by 1816. He is recorded in 1828 with Ticket of Leave as labourer with his family at Parramatta. His Conditional Pardon was issued on 27 4 1837. He died on 20 2 1841 age59 father of 7known children. Mary Amelia Harlow was Joseph Huff's 2nd wife. (he called her Amelia) his first wife was Mary Webb, daughter of Robert Webb (1st Fleet and Elizabeth Anderson. According to oral family history, she died in childbirth. There are no records to support this claim. he called his 2nd wife by her 2nd name. So I presume he loved his 1st Mary.

Mary married Joseph Huff (Convict, Glatton, 1803). Joseph Huff, prisoner per ship Glatton age 34 of the parish of St John Parramatta and Mary Harlow, free of ditto, age 29 were married in this church by banns this 2nd day of April 1816 by me John Youl. Both Joseph and Mary made their X marks in the register in the presence of William Cordell and Sarah May who both also made their marks.

Mary was tried at Bristol Quarter Sessions on 14 Jan 1811 and sentenced to transportation for seven years. She was one of 119 convicts transported on the ship 'Wanstead' in 1813. Upon arrival in the colony, she was assigned as a servant to G. J. Palmer of Windsor.
