New South Wales, Australia, St. John's Parramatta, Burials Samuel Armer ** Prisoner. Fortune 2nd aged 31 years old of the Parish of Parramatta was buried 16 April 1821 The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser (NSW : 1803 - 1842) Sat 21 Apr 1821. Page 2. Sydney. A Coroner's Inquest was convened at Parramatta on Monday morning last, on the body of Samuel Harmer, a bricklayer, who had been suddenly seized with vio- lent illness on the Saturday night previous, which continued for some few hours, and then ended in his death. Verdict— Death by the Visitation of God.

Samuel Harmer, aged 22, for feloniously stealing a chesnut gelding, with his harness, and a cart, the property Jacob and Lewis. Sussex Advertiser, 30 Mar 1812. At Horsham, H. Collings, for burglary, Michael Cry, James Blake, Wm. King, Priscilla Jones, John Bingham, S. Harmer, John Palfi, Thomas Reeves, and Randall Carr, for burglaries and thefts; and G. Thomas, for wilfully shooting at James and George Alfey ; were severally sentenced to suffer death, but afterwards reprieved. Bath Chronicle, 2 April 1812.
