National Archives. HO 47/6/84 1787 June 5 Certificate/memorial of William Henry Ashhurst on capitally convicted on the Buckinghamshire and Norfolk Assizes, but 'some favourable Circumstances' appeared on/after their trial and recommended to mercy on the conditions set against their names: Norfolk Assizes at Thetford, 22 March 1787 Edward Harrington, for burglary. 14 years transportation.
