Jonathan Harris was transported for Stealing from his master, goods to the value of £18.19.6. Jonathan was 25 years old, 5'6" tall, fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes. Jonathan left a wife, Elizabeth and 3 children, John, Elizabeth and Henry in England. They all arrived per "Kains" in 1833 and then Elizabeth had 3 more children before dying in childbirth in 1836. Jonathan was assigned to his wife. 1838: TOL Yass 1841: TOL Goulburn September 1841: CP. 1840: Jonathan married Ann Grub who arrived free. They must have had 3 children, because:- 2/9/1842: Jonathan was tried at Parramatta for "Stealing from the Person" (pickpocketing) the sum of £46 and was transported to VDL for 15 years per "Sir J Byng" arriving on 28/10/1843. Jonathan was described then as: married with 9 children, 45 years old, trade: (looks like) Gardener, 5'6" tall, fair complexion, grey hair, brown whiskers, blue eyes. 31/2/1849: TOL 1/10/1850: TOL revoked 17/12/1850: TOL Restored 25/3/1851: CP 20/6/1853: Married Mary Ann Squire/Squires, convict, per "Anna Maria" 1852 to VDL. They had 2 children born in Tasmania, then 6 more children born in Victoria.
