The undermentioned female convicts were removed from Salop county gaol, last week :—Jane Cadman and Ann Harris, to be put on board the ship Lucy Davison, at Woolwich; Staffordshire Advertiser, 11 July 1829.




Susannah Harris was 16 years old when transported for ‘stealing/shoplifting’. Susanah was 5’4 ½” tall, fair complexion, light brown hair, dark hazel eyes. 5/12/1831: Married David Lunt (John Barry 1821) – they had 1 child, Thomas born 1832. Susannah absconded from David LUNT in March 1834 – she then entered a 25 year relationship with Joseph Stevens and had a further 11 children. 1836: COF 10/3/1887: Susannah died at Bathurst.
