Saturday last Philip Harrold and William Vale (apprehended at Mildenhall) were committed to our gaol, by John Swale, Esq. charged with stealing sundry geese, turkies, and ducks, the property of Thomas Dorr, of West Tofts, Norfolk. Bury and Norwich Post, 18 Nov 1801. ————————————————————————— At Bury, ... Philip Harrold, and William Vale, for stealing poultry, and Jonathan Cole, for stealing, sixteen bushels of oats in the chaff; to be transported for 7 years. St James Chronicle, 6 April 1802. ————————————————————————— On Sunday last Hannah Williams, Wm. Vale, and Philip Harrold, convicts in our gaol, were conveyed from thence to Portsmouth, to be put on board the Coromandel and Experiment, bound for Botany Bay. Bury and Norwich Post, 9 Nov 1803.
