James Harris, transported as James Harris Harvey, per Mangles, F.S., tried at Carrick, on 1 Aug 1871, for Larceny, received 4 months, native place is Brinford, age 55 yrs, 5 feet 6 1/4 inches high, brown to grey hair, Man and woman right arm, crucifix sun and moon on left. Tasmania Police Gazette, 8th Dec 1871, p198. Prisoner discharged from H M Gaols, Hobart & Launceston, week ending 23 & 27 Mar 1872. From Lyndhurst, James Harris, transported as James Harris Harvey, per Mangles, F.S., tried at Lyndhurst, on 10 Jan 1872, for Larceny, received 10 weeks, native place is Brinford, age 55 yrs, 5 feet 6 1/4 inches high, brown to grey hair, Man and woman right arm, crucifix sun and moon on left.
