1828 - Source; CON19-1-12. Description List. Trade; Shirt Button Maker Age; 28 years [abt 1800] Height; 5 ft 6 in Eyes - Grey. Hair - Dark Brown Native Place; Shaftesbury 1828 – Source; CON40-1-5. Index No; 119 Trial; 2 Aug 1827 Transported for “Stealing from the person" Maria states the offence was Receiving stolen goods. Previous Convictions; 3 times before. 1. Assault - served at Dorchester 2. Stealing from the person - Acquitted Status; Married Husband' Jas Haspbury [Shaftesbury] Umbrella and parasol maker, Last employed selling cakes and gingerbread. 1830 - 25 Sept. Drunkenness' and insolent to her mistress. Sentence; Bread and water 7 days & returned to her service. 1831 - 22 March. Neglect of duty in her service and indecent conduct in her master's house. Sentence; 3 months - C Class 1831 - Died in Female House of Correction. Inquisition; 29 Nov 1831 1831 - Burials in the Parish of Hobart Town in the County of Buckingham in the year 1831 name; Maria Hasbery ** Spelling as per Register Age; 35 years.
