(Bredgar), in April 1798, & stealing printed cotton etc & tried for breaking & entering house of Stephen (East), in July 1798, & stealing printed cotton etc at Kent Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 15 4 1800 after a voyage of 6months on SPEEDY. She had a first relationship (1of3) with William (Pearce/Easton his first relationship). She was recorded in July 1801 living off stores at Toongabbie with M (Pierce). Tuesday last was committed Elizabeth Hasten, charged a violent breaking into the dwelling-house Bredgar, and stealing a piece of printed cotton and sundry other articles.— Kentish Gazette, 6 Apr 1798. -------------------------------------------------- Elizabeth Hasten, aged 16, charged with breaking open the dwelling-house of Stephen East, and stealing one piece of printed cotton and sundry other articles.
