HO-11-2. Indents, Early Convict Ships Indian Edward Haw, Tried at Lincoln Assizes, 11 Mar 1809, Life. ------------------------------------------------------- Saturday last Edward Haw was committed to Lincoln Castle, by the Rev. Dr. Johnson, for having, in the night of the 16th January last, stolen from out the stable of Edward Hall, Horbling, farmer, aged chesnut mare, and also a saddle and bridle, his property. Stamford Mercury, 24 Feb 1809. Edward Haw, aged 2?, for stealing a mare, in the night the January last, from the stable of Edward Hall, of Horbling, arid his property. -Guilty, Death. At Lincoln Assizes, ... and Edward Haw, for horse-stealing, both received sentence of death, but were reprieved. Bury and Norwich Post, 22 March 1809.
