Anne HAYDEN was convicted at Dublin on 6 Aug 1850 for stealing money and also escaping from prison (Grange Gorman).Gaol Report: convicted 5 times before. bad. 10 yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Blackfriar' 1851. Single woman; cook/laundress; aged 25yrs; 4'11 1/2"; can read; Protestant. Native Place: Co. Kildare Father: George Mother: Jane Brothers: Matthew, George, James. Assigned out to work services. 10 June 1852: Married Alexander Lambert at Hamilton, VDL. Anne aged 23yrs, Alexander aged 40yrs. July 1852: at Mr. Lambert's. Drunk. Fined.
