Ann died sometime in 1818. Death registered as Ann Shrimpton, at Windsor, Vol: V18184056 2B. Sometime after her death, Richard remarried to Charlotte Bishop the daughter of Mary Bishop (First Fleet Convict, 1788, Lady Penryhn)

The solemnization of matrimony by Banns between Richard Shrimpton and Ann Keys and married this 24th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety two by me Richard Johnson. Ann Keys made her x mark in the presence of Michael Conners and Luke Jones.
