In the parish of Norton ( Kent ?) in 1801, Sarah stole 1 cloak, 1 pair stockings, 1 tea caddy, 1 apron and 1 bonnet. Total value - 16 shillings and ninepence. Sarah pleaded not guilty but was found guilty and sentenced to be hanged. She was transported in the HMS Glatton in 1802. She died in the poor house at Windsor.
