Abt. 1829 - married (or had an ongoing relationship with) Biddy Sergeant, an Aboriginal woman. Abt 1840 - married Ann Blake. No official sources found. It is unclear whether Robert had simultaneous relationships with the two woman, but births of children by each were registered.

Trial and Sentence 2 Mar 1816 • Northampton Assizes Crime is not stated, but the sentence is transportation for 7 years. One source lists crime as 'larceny in a dwelling house' - sentence death. ( I think this must refer to a different Rob. Hayward, although this trial was also in Northampton in 1816.
