Convict Notes




Hannah was convicted of pssessing forged one-pound notes, knowing them to be forged. Se ws acquitted of charge of forging them. Also charged with her were catherine Watson, Isaac Wise and John George Hearson (Earl Spencer). Her daughter Elizabeth also come free with her on Wanstead. She married William Fowler (Fortune) 1816, had about 5 kids, separated by 1828. Had two more kids with George Dowling, died 1835 aged 39. Hannah received her Certificate of Freedom in Nov 1826.




Crime (see Old Bailey under "Hannah Eyreson"): possession of forged pound notes, She was acquitted of forging them. With Isaac Wise, Catherine Watson and her husband John George Hearson. Her daughter Elizabeth came with her on Wanstead.
