Richard was 55'9" tall, light brown hair, light blue eyes, fourth finger left hand crippled, slightly pockpitted, illiterate. Married - 5 children, Wife Mary at Wigan. Father and Mother: Peter a paviour wigan; 9 b. peter, john, thomas, samuel, james, henry, benjamin; 3 s. betty, ruth and ann; some in wigan. 10/7/1849: Permission to marry Catherine Evans (Woodbridge 1843). 30/7/1849: Married at St Joseph's Church, Hobart - Richard 46 years old, a Paver and Catherine 44 years old, a servant. 7/9/1850: (Newspaper date) Sentence expired - CP August 1851: COF
