Heffernan John, Norfolk 4, 32-2875, 26 County Dublin, waiter and soldier, 5 feet 11, sallow comp. dark brown hair brown eyes, mole right side of upper lip MH MP and laurel on lower right arm, left little finger contracted, from Argyle Bridge, since 26th ditto. SUPREME CRIMINAL, COURT. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12. (Before Mr. Justice Burton and a Military Jury.) John Heffernan and Patrick Gaffney, were indicted for a highway robbery, and putting in bodily fear John Sheehy, at Cox's River, on the 7th October last … (Sydney Gazette, 14 Nov 1835, p. 2.)
