Sighted at NSW State Archives-reel 770 ref 4/2698.1 Annual return of Prisoners at Norfolk Island dated 22/12/1843 Henry Gillett was still listed at this date , but was marked "approved" this is believed to mean that he was to be returned to Sydney , almost certainly on the vessel "Mangles".
