19/3/1833 South Eastern Gazette Kent, England: RICHARD EDWARDS, 18 ; HENRY BARKER, 24 ; and HENRY STEEBE, 20, indicted for assaulting Mary Westbrook, at St. Paul's, Deptford, and taking from her nbetween 18s and 19s. .....The prisoners in their defence, stated that the young woman dropped the glove__that they picked it up, and found it to contain only 5s 2d. The three had been convicted of felony.__Death recorded. Henry Steebe/or Steele - 8/9/1841: Sydney Herald: MAITLAND ASSIZES.-The Maitland Circuit Court was opened on Monday by Mr. Justice Stephen with the usual ceremonies. Charles Vout and Henry Steele were convicted of a robbery in the dwelling-house, of Mr. J. H. Garven, and sentenced to be transported for life. 1843: Arrived VDL per 'Sir John Byng'. Now using the name Henry Steele. Henry was then described as: 30 years old, swarthy complexion, dark brown hair and whiskers, brown eyes, breast hairy, several moles above left elbow. 25/5/1844: Was a Port Arthur - Removed from Port Arthur to serve six months probation at Jericho Station. 23/7/1850: TOL 14/12/1852: Recommended for a CP 27/6/1854: CP
