Family connections for Henry (Dutton) are: DUTTON CCONVICTnot foundLOOKED Henry (Dutton) was born about 1766. He was tried probably at Old Bailey in 1789, sentenced to 7years, held probably in London/Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6.5months on Fleet ship SALAMANDER & on Norfolk Island in September 1791. He had a relationship with Catherine (Sullivan her second relationship) whom he later married at St Davids CofE Hobart-perhaps after 1820, no mention found. He was Free by Servitude by 1801. He was recorded as convict labourer on Norfolk Island in February 1805. He left Norfolk Island (listed separately from his family) as part of the first evacuation (for which volunteers apparantly had been called with appropriate compensation offerred & for which he may have tried to decline as some successful farmers were asked to stay) on 15 5 1808 on ESTRAMINA, arriving at Derwent Tasmania on 5 6 1808. He was a sawyer when convicted of a crime in March 1812-not sure if reference means in Tasmania or past crime on Norfolk Island. He is recorded as off stores on 2 10 1818 at Hobart town. He may have married Catherine (Sullivan) before 1820 at St Davids CofE Hobart-no reference found inSmees records. He died on 19 12 1820 age54 & was buried at St Davids CofE Hobart. [Henry (Dutton) does not have an entry on this Website as yet] Catherine (Sullivan) seems to have been born about 1775. She arrived in NSW as a convict with Catherine & Eleanor on 11 2 1796 after a voyage of 6months on MARQUIS CORNWALLIS & arrived on Norfolk Island on 13 2 1796sic-accordingng to Ref:'People...'-with Eleanor & Honora (as a family).. She arrived on Norfolk Island on 13 2 1796. She is recorded as off stores on Norfolk Island in February 1805. She had 16acres when she left Norfolk Island with 3children (for which volunteers apparantly had been called with appropriate compensation offerred & for which she may have tried to decline as some successful farmers were asked to stay) on 15 5 1808 on ESTRAMINA-on board were Honora (Sullivan) & her family) (from Ref:'People...'), arriving at Derwent Tasmania on 5 6 1808. She was Free by Servitude by 1811. She died on 27 3 1811 age36 & was buriedat St Davids CofE Hobart. 2MORE CHILDRENBORN LATER Catherine (Sullivan) does not have an entry on this Website; added by me. She left Norfolk Island with her parents on 15 5 1808 on ESTRAMINA, arriving at Derwent Tasmania on 5 6 1808; according to Ref:'People...' although not listed in Ref.'Forgotten...'. 2.Maria (Dutton) was born on 5 9 1798. She is recorded as Maria (Sullivan) child off stores on Norfolk Island in February 1805. She left Norfolk Island with her parents on 15 5 1808 on ESTRAMINA, arriving at Derwent Tasmania on 5 6 1808; according to Ref:'People...' although not listed in Ref.'Forgotten...'. 3.Mary Anne (Dutton) was born in 1801 on Norfolk Island. She is recorded as Mary Ann (Sullivan) child off stores on Norfolk Island in February 1805. She left Norfolk Island with her parents on 15 5 1808 on ESTRAMINA, arriving at Derwent Tasmania on 5 6 1808. 4.Peter (Dutton) was born in 1802 on Norfolk Island.
