NSW Government Gazette has a Henry, William on list of "Runaways Apprehended", 28Feb., 1838, Sovereign (1)- James Oatley, George St., Sydney (whom I presume was his master.) Oatley was an ex-convict, watchmaker and in charge of Town Clock. Had land-grant near Kingsgrove and gave his name to modern suburb of Oatley.
