Catherine Herbert, for stealing a watch, from Edw. Carter, junior, of Datchet, farmer; Reading Mercury, 11 March 1799. ------------------------------------------------- At Reading, Edwards and Eliz. Grace, for burglaries; Catherine Herbert, for theft; Samuel Morris and J. Butler, for sheep stealing, were capitally convicted, and received sentence of death. Stamford Mercury, 15 March 1799.
