Ellen was listed as being 24 years old on arrival, she was 5'2 1/2" tall, single, fresh complexion, b lack hair, hazel eyes, scar on back of left hand. Ellen was transported for 'stealing 12??(looks like) cows from her uncle Thomas Hurliy and Jeremiah Lynch at County Kerry. Ellen was convicted along with her brother, Daniel Herlihy who arrived VDL per 'Hyderabad' 1850. 9/12/1851: TOL 1/8/1853: Married Michael Costine (London 1850) Ellen was 28 and Michael 22 - they had 8 children listed from 1854-1868.
