Family connections for Mary (Heron) are: HERON Mary (Heron aka Hurwin) was born about 1763. She was tried at Dublin city Ireland in 1791, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 8 1793 after a voyage of 6months on BODDINGTONS. She married Samuel (Owens his second (2of3) marriage) on 17 9 1793 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She was perhaps charged on 19 1 1799 with deserting and plundering her husband. She became a landholder. She died about 1806/10. [Some details taken from this Website] Samuel (Owens) was tried at Flintshire Wales General Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 10 1792 after a voyage of 4months on ROYAL ADMIRAL. He married firstly (1of3) Jane (Horton) on 23 12 1792 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He was Free by Servitude by 1809. He had a third relationship with Jane (May her first relationship) whom he married on 13 5 1810 at St Matthews CofE Windsor & produced 3children. He died in 1825-shown in Smees records-father of perhaps 3children.
