The convict indentures state that Edmond Hickey was 22 years old. He could neither read or write; religion Catholic; Status single and occupation Ploughman. A native of Tipperary, Ireland. He was convicted of Burglary at Tipperary on 7 April 1828 and sentenced to transportation for life. He had no prior convictions. Physical attributes: height 5 feet 3 1/2 inches; complexion ruddy and freckles; hair dark brown and eyes hazel. Transport number 35. Edmond was assigned to Richard Fitzgerald at Windsor. He received a ticket of leave No. 38/834 and a condition pardon on 18 August 1854, number 503
