7/9/1827 Chester Chronicle Cheshire, England: Assize Intelligence. JOHGN HIGGINS, 25, charged with burglariously entering the dwelling house of John Lowe, at Moston, on the night of the 27th of April, and stealing therefrom a quantity of wearing apparel.__Death recorded. John Higgins was listed as 28 years old on arrival. Native Place: Cheshire. Occupation: Farm Servant and Boatman. John was literate, single, 5'7¾" tall, dark ruddy and pockpitted complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, small scar over left eye. Assigned to Berry and Wollstoncraft at Shoalhaven. 1836: TOL Illawarra. 1837: TOL Illawarra. 28/5/1840: TOL Passport Queanbeyan Bench. 16/6/1843: TOL Passport Queanbeyan Bench. 1844: Recommended for a CP 1/2/1845: CP 24/5/1845: Convict Death Register - John Higgins died at Berrima.
