CRIME: Riotously destroying a house - convicted along with 11 others of this offence. All were sentenced to transportation for life. All were admitted to the prison hulk Justitia at Woolwich on 25 January 1832. He was sent on 10 February for transportation. Daniel HIGGS was 18, born 1814, according to the hulk record (see UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, 1802-1849).
