William Highet and David Kennedy for sheep-stealing. The Scots Magazine, 1 October 1816. William Highet, present prisoner in the tolbooth of Ayr, and David Kennedv, now, or lately collier at Knockshogle, have been served  been served with indictments to stand trial before the High Court. of Justiciary at Edinburgh, on the 15th day of December inst for the crime of sheep stealing. Caledonian 2 Dec 1816.
