The 1822 Muster shows this convict under the name of John Hindes in Government employment at Parramatta. The 1828 Census shows this convict is known by the name of John Hinds aged 52 a stockman employed by George Cox at Mulgoa. Hinds' wife is shown in the Census as Mary Massey aged 54 per Elizabeth 1820. He received a Certificate of Freedom on 22 April 1828.
