At WORCESTER Assizes, which commenced on Monday, ... W. Attwood and J. Hingley, for sheep-stealing; and ... received sentence of death. Hingley is left for execution, the other three are reprieved Aris’s Birmingham Gazette, 15 March 1802. --------------------------------------------------- Joseph Hingley, convicted at Worcester assizes for sheep stealing, and left for execution, has been reprieved.
