11/08/1804- Lancaster Assizes. Eve (37) and her daughter Jane (aged 17) broke into and stole from Daniel Wallings house at Silverdale, north lancashire, 3 hams, part of a flitch of bacon, a hogs cheek and 12 shillings in money. Jane was given 12 months in Preston HOC. Eve was held at Lancaster Castle gaol and was part of a group of ten women sent to Spithead to board the William Pitt (a journey of 315 miles at a cost of £15 15 shillings per woman)
