James Hogan was listed as 22 years old on arrival, he was literate, RC, Native Place: Tipperary County. 15/3/1844: TOL Carcoar - Altered to Bathurst 21/12/1846. 20/12/1848: CP - James was 35, large brown mole inside calf of left leg. Possible marriage: ( Many James Hogan's around at this time, cannot be sure). 11/8/1846: Married Bridget Collins at St Michael's RC, church, Bathurst. James was a carpenter. Children: 1847: Ellen 1850: Bridget 1859: Patrick 1853: Michael 1860: Thomas 1863: Patrick After James' death Bridget married William Dawson in 1889 at Orange, NSW. In 1866 William and Bridget had a daughter Jane Dawson, born Orange. 1871, a son William, born Orange.
