The prisoners were tried and convicted, viz. John Holloway and Thomas Innes, for stealing from David Lee two shillings in money, under circumstances of considerable aggravation, were sentenced by the Court, the former to be transported for life, and the latter to be imprisoned for 12 calendar months, and kept to hard labour in the city gaol; James Woodwards ... On Tuesday last John Holloway and John Woodwards were removed from our city gaol, to the Justicia hulk at Woolwich, pursuant to their respective sentences of transportation at our last city sessions; Holloway for life, and Woodwards for seven years.
