On Wednesday evening the following convicts were removed from Lincoln Castle to the Leviathan hulk in Portsmouth harbour: John Watson, John Whitaker, Thos. Grant, John Johnson, Richard Riggall, and Geo. Kent, for the term of 7 years; Laxton Kirkham, for 14 years: and John Askew and Joseph Holmes, for their lives.
Stamford Mercury, 16 Oct 1829.

ADM 101/41/2 .  Medical and surgical journal of the convict ship Lady Feversham from 1 March 1830 by Douglas Wilson, surgeon and superintendent, during which the said ship was making a passage to Sydney.
Folio 5: Joseph Holmes, aged 18, convict; case number 6; disease or hurt, ulcer. Put on sick list, 1 April 1830 at Spithead. Discharged 11 June 1830 cured.
