Folio 5: Sarah Holmes, aged 24, convict; taken ill, 14 July 1819 at sea; disease or hurt, severe cough attended with difficulty of breathing and pain in her chest, is very costive and has no appetite; discharged from sick list 7 August 1819.

ADM 101/45/1 1819-1820 Diary for the Lord Wellington female convict ship sailing from England to New South Wales, covering 27 April 1819 to 27 January 1820, by Edward Foord Bromley, MD, Surgeon, Royal Navy and Superintendent of Convicts. (Described at item level) Folio 2: Jane Renowden, aged 30; Susanah Veal, aged 40; Elizabeth Liven, aged 21 and Sarah Holmes, aged 24. All these women came from Exeter jail together. Had travelled outside the coach heavily ironed and caught cold. They all complained together, had the same medicines I prescribed and each recovered about the same time. All discharged 10 May 1819.
