William Hood was born in Plymouth and was 24 years old on arrival. He was transported for "Stealing a silver watch from a shop". William was 5' 8" tall, black hair, grey eyes, single, 2 scars on forehead, 2 blue marks inside left arm near elbow Joint. William's occupation was a Cabinet maker and Upholsterer. 1835 Muster: Public Works. 7/4/1846: Recommended for a CP Sept. 1847: CP 11/8/1847: Married Hannah Watson (Woodbridge 1843) - she was the widow of Charles Northfield (Enchantress 1833).
