John married Rebecca Bloxham (Bloxam) in 1829 in Newcastle, NSW & he had 2 children. Amelia born 1831 & Sarah born 1836. John died at age 40. He was sent to Van Diemens Land, Newcastle & Port Macquarie. All three notoriuos in history for the extremely harsh conditions.
