Possible births of children of Frederick and Jane Williams. 1831, Charles; 1833, Frederick; 1835, Sarah; 1837, Henry; 1840, Maria; 1842, Jane; 1845, Fanny; 1849, John F. ---------------------------------------------------------- WILLIAMS.-On February 12, at her residence, Bell-street, Newtown, Windsor after a short but painful illness, Jane, the beloved wife of Mr. Frederick Williams, aged 65 years, leaving a large family of children and grand-children to mourn their loss. Beloved and respected by all who know her. Auckland papers please copy. Sydney Morning Herald, 18 Feb 1881.

Jane Hope was charged with stealing various articles of female wearing apparel from the house of John Affleck, at Blackford, in the parish of St Cuthbert, in June last , aggravated by being habit and repute a common thief. The prisoner pled Not Guilty, and the Lord Advocate having restricted the libel to an arbitrary punishment, she was sentenced to be transported for 14 years . The Scotsman, 8 Nov 1826.
