On Thursday arrived from Calcutta, via Derwent, the ship Mary, Captain Ormon, with a various cargo. -Passengers from Calcutta, Captain Faithfull and Lieutenant Hamilton:-The Mary sailed from Calcutta the 23d of February, and left the Pilot the 1st of March. Born in Market Drayton, Shropshire, England in 1815. She was transported in 1835 for a term of 7 years for theft of 7 books and other small items with her friend Susan Hickien who received the same sentence. Sarah was released in 1842 and married Job Stone on 27 Sep 1842 at St. Andrews Parish, Sydney, Cumberland County, New South Wales, Australia. They had many children and she died on 22 Sep 1896 at Walton St, Brunswick/Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and is buried in the Melbourne General Cemetery.
