Elizabeth stole money from a Samuel Greaves along with Elizabeth Barrett and another man. She was convicted at the Lancaster Quarter Sessions, held at Salford's New Bayley courthouse on the 30th April 1800. She was taken to the county jail at Lancaster Castle to await transportation. She left Lancaster Castle in October along with twelve other female prisoners, they were to be clothed and conveyed to Gravesend. Her time in New South Wales was brief; Elizabeth passed away the year following arrival in February or March 1802 at Parramatta and was buried in St John's Cemetery March 2nd.
