John Howell died 29 AUG 1849 and is buried at Camperdown Cemetery, his cause of death at an inquest was intemperance

John Howell received his TOL in 1838 to remain in the district of Paterson - he could read and write and had been a combmaker before becoming a ropemaker, he was a confectioner at the time of his death - he was a protestant
