Trade; Housemaid, Height; 4 ft 10 1/4 in aged 25 years old Grey eyes and light brown hair CON63-1-2/1355275 - Death under sentence No; 600. Died; 16 November 1849 aged 29 years old, Hospital Hobart, Ticket of Leave




Margaret was convicted of stealing 54 tea basins at Liverpool, 5 times previously in prison for theft and 20 times for vagrancy. Newspaper clipping Margaret aged 12 sentenced to 12 months in prison UK criminal register "Thirty times in prison for vagrancy; has been a thief and prostitute for the last ten years; relatives and connexions all thieves" Margaret HUGHES delivered of an illegitimate child 26 Feb 1847 at Cascades factory. On 30 Jun 1847 the child died. Margaret died 16 Nov 1849
