Convicted Worcester Quarter Sessions 14 October 1817, sentenced to 7 years transportation Convict indent: he is a native of Worcestershire, calling is Nailer, Tailor & Labourer, age 17, five feet one and a half inches tall, fair pale complexion, flaxen hair, hazel eyes In the 1825 muster he is in the clearing party - Col Johnson at Liverpool On 1 Aug 1825 he obtained his Certificate of Freedom In 1828 he married convict Jane Woolley (Grenada 1825) at St James Sydney [56/1828 V182856 149 HUMPAGE RICHARD WOOLEY JANE CJ also 730/1828 V1828730 12, 4296/1828 V18284296 3B] In the 1828 census he is listed as a tailor at Pitt Street and Jane Woolley is listed as his housekeeper. In 1830 his wife Jane was convicted of stealing, admitted to Sydney Gaol, sentenced to 3rd class for 12 months with labour His wife Jane died in 1834 [HUMPAGE JANE 2018/1834 V18342018 18 AGE 29]
