Sydney Gazette, 24 Dec 1827. Police-OFFICE, WlNDSOR, 24th NOVEMBER, 1827. WHEREAS, the undermentioned Persons, who enjoy the Indulgence of A TICKET OF LEAVE, have represented to me, that their TICKETS have been STOLEN from them, or otherwise that they have been lost or destroyed; viz. - Thomas Humphries, Guilford (l), Wiltshire, 50, Shoemaker, 5 feet 2 and a half inches high, sallow complexion, brown to grey hair, dark eves, No. of Ticket 188,1662, 14th August, 1825. -------------------------------------------------- 1828 NSW Census Index. Thomas Humphris, (50 years old), with having broken into a malt-house and stolen divers articles of linen; also with having stolen a ewe from a ground in the tything of Fresdon, and four pigs in a stye at North Blunsden. Salisbury Journal, 6 Aug 1810 Salisbury Assizes The Assizes ended, when sentence of death was passed on Jones and Francis, for burglary, and Harry Richmond and Thomas Humphries for sheep-stealing. The two former were left for execution. Morning Advertiser, 9 Aug 1810 Harry Richmond, aged 26 years, for stealing a lamb, the property of Mr J.
